I've noticed that the bigger undulations work better for going slow and the tighter faster ones are for, well obviously, going fast. When I'm goofing around on the reef w/o a gun, I traverse w/ this huge undulation (bi fins, by the way). It feels like I'm using gravity and momentum to help in my propulsion. Anyway, I feel like I can go for miles doing this. Pretty cool feeling.
