Re: pb static better on competition or training

I my self and most people I know do better in training. Competition eats anywhere from 30-60 sec from my best. But I'm not very experienced in competing yet, I expect this to narrow down as I get more, but I don't believe I will surpass my pb's in competition.

For some, competition is a reason to push more than normally and it may motivate them to break their record, but for someone who's training to the max anyway, this effect is not seen.

How ever much I plan it (or in fact, if I plan it too much), I always manage to mess up warmup in competition, get a bit excited in the beginning (higher heart rate) etc, and being aware of those things it usually don't push "'till the end", but rather conservative, since I know I can easily bring my self to samba if I decide to.
