Re: Cressi 5mm Camo Suit Problems

Hiya

Sorry, but i don't own that wetsuit. I do have a Omer Ocean Mimetic and a Rabitech Predator, both 5mm open cell wetsuits. Both suits are still in good conditions even though they're over 3 years old. What i have noticed is that generally after about a year of hard use, my suits become thinner.

What you must remember is that wetsuits aren't designed to last for-ever!!! I reckon a year of hard diving, like maybe once or twice a week, is a good life span for ANY wetsuit. What we tend to do is use our wetsuits for much longer than we should. This can easily be seen when you purchase a new wetsuit. It's now suddenly soooo much warmer than your older suit, as well as sooo much more bouyant.

Well, thats my 2c worth!! Don't know what the other spearo think, but pretty sure you'll get a couple of more reponses!!

Regards
miles
