Actually, I was only in for 2 days of observation after a car wreck (rolled my pickup on the way home after 5 days of work and 5 hours of sleep) and was fully mobile so the "Pecker Checkers" (Navy slang for the Corpsmen - Navy RNs) didn't have to deal with that. They just had to take blood (da$& ghouls!) and make sure that the IV line was still working in case I fell over dead or something.....
