Let me add my two cents. First follow a good doctor's orders until the ears are feeling good again.
For years, when diving a lot or in different water, I used a few drops in my ears after a dive. Lie on your sides and let the solution stay in place for a minute. The US government spent a ton of money to develop a solution that is expensive and perscription only. 50% vodka and 50% vinegar is almost identical. If the water is polluted or has bugs in it, you might want to try Doc's Pro Plugs. Put the solution in and use the plugs that are designed for diving to hold some of it in. I don't know about target diving to 100 meters plus, but they worked fine for spearfishing to 25 meters.
