A Poet called Mary Fry wrote a poem in 1932, which I have 'borrowed', and changed the words, which I would like to dedicate to Alison and Colin.


Do not stand at our graves and weep,
We are not there, we do not sleep.

We are the quite calm you feel in your heart,
as your immersion begins, as the freedive will start.
We are the light which will dance on the surface,
as you fin back from depth..your life filled with purpose.

When your divings been perfect, and the ocean emerald blue,
Colin and I are the 2 dolphins, which you may see pass by you.

as the sun sinks to the ocean, wherever you dive we are there,
we are the sun on your skin, we are the wind in your hair.

So friends at deeper Blue, do'nt stand at our graves and cry.

We are not there, we did not die.
