Have no experience with diveskin, but generally high pants seem to work better in apnea suits regarding warmth and flexibility.
For interior nylon won't be as warm as open cell (slick skin in his site), the difference is usually notable, so for Or waters I'd say open cell.
It is more flexible yet more delicate. But with good care an opencell suit can still last for several years.
