Frequency of static exercises.

Hi gang,

Well, I just did my first Static Table (the one found on Freediver.co.uk), and I have to say, it was more enjoyable than just doing 5 holds, holding to max on each. Especially with the voice on....I started the table, then I laid on my bed in my mask and just followed along with the voice. I did a table that started at a 15 sec hold, and progessed, with 2 min rest periods between holds, up to 2 mins, 8 holds total. So, my question is...how often does everyone actually do statics? Daily? Or, like any other form of exercise, every OTHER day? And how do you know when it's time to "ramp up", and increase the hold time? On top of the statics, I'm also doing regular (freestyle) swimming on Mon, Weds, and Fri, and surface swimming with mask/snorkle/fins and dynamic apnea with mask/fins on Tues and Thurs (man...it's no WONDER I've lost 20 lbs..back to my HIGH SCHOOL weight.. and muscles I NEVER knew I had are starting to pop out all over on my 5'11", 165 lb frame!).
