Mares Cyrano 850 should do you fine. You can buy JBL spears and put JBL tips on it. I hunt in virginia beach and i use a Cyrano 700 and 850. We arent allowed to spear stripped bass in virginia beach. I do shoot lots of Tautog, flounder, and sheepshead and an occasional cobia when it swims by.
