i wasn´t going to post this.....but information helps saves lives.. so here we go.
it was my birthday
so we organised a special day
special friends and the sea
6 of us boarded our speed boat called " dark side of the moon" and we headed off just after sunset to our favorite freediving area.....
waited... for darkness and in we went, this place is full of amazing tunnels and caves. i had freedived this place many times before at night and in the day,..actually all of us had. This night it was a little darker than the rest.
at one point during the session i lost mental awarness of where one of my friends was, Tom. I knew the rest of the guys where in a cave with an open top together chilling out looking up to the moon breaking through the clouds.
Last thing i heard about where was Tom was that he went deep into a hole/tunnel. I decided to stay out side and wait for the glimpse of lights of there torches as they reappered.
after a long while i saw Toms light, small, white, blue bright and deep. it wasn.t moving, i just thought he was chilling out checking the crabs on his way up.... so i went down to join him.
i found him on his back like a dead spider, eyes closed mouth shut, i really thought he was playing with me. so i slapped him on his hand ... no reaction.
he was like jelly... weight belt off and up we went. i could not believe what was happening. We surfaced and he was totally out, i shouted like crazy to the rest of my friends and in my disbelief and confusion removed his masked, hood, blowing like crazy into his eye balls and shouting his name. This is where my dearest friend Wolf took over and proceeded in squeezing the hell out of him to get the water out.... A Quick desicion and i was off for a long swim to get the boat.
i got back there to the scene and thankyou so much lord he was alive..........they got him back (thank god Wolf you were there to bring him back) after a horrible very long time.

Tom says, he found no exit in the cave / tunnel.
his dive computer said 18.3 meters 3minutes 44 seconds.
he has water in his lungs and will be out of hospital tomorrow, and now he has two birthdays.
He used up so much of his luck this night, every single milligram counted. he is a super fit healthy guy..
