i am not calling an OOW ticket a start !!! i stated he could start getting his STCW 95 (courses) ... I.E. stcw basic training, stcw sea survival, stcw general ship knowledge, stcw first aid etc... etc.... all this is available in Palma de Mallorca / Antibes / Warash.
I resent your mis-guiding, generalized, opinionated view on the professional multi billion dollar yachting industry, yes deckhands will smell brasso, pretty girls yes, pretty plastic things that you can drive.. well ,...HMMMM some girls do carry them in there hand bags. Salaries can be extremely high,..so if you are so materialistically minded you could have more than enough cars and houses in several countries. Travelling unlimited. Could be a dream job for somebody on this planet
