I thought it was time to raise a glass to this place
. Many of you may not know that DeeperBlue.net is
10 years old this year. We're been around in one form or another for the past decade and what a journey it has been!
From a humble site dedicated to posting my tales from teaching scuba to the monster that it is now it has been a truly amazing experience and one that i'm proud to have been part of.
I'd like to thank the members here - without you i'd have had more time to actually enjoy diving
. I'd also like to say a HUGE thank you to both the Mentor Team here as well as the Editorial Team on the main site.
You have all worked tirelessly over the years to help with this little corner of the internet.
There have been over 150 people worldwide that have helped contribute to the site. A truly dedicated and astonishing set of volunteers. Some people are no longer with us (John, Alison and Colin to name three), some people have moved on and some are still helping out even now (god knows why - they have to put up with me!!)
The power of the internet allows me to show you some of the old designs for those who are interested!
