Yup ...was diving but couldn`t resist showing off that beauty!!(aye first pic.)
One of the local lads who does a bit of lobster fishing and whose brother is a lobster fisherman(is that what they are called?) used to tell me about the older fellas that used to go out at low tide and use a "click"(stick/tickler) and poke around the holes up here to get lobbies but it seems largely to have died out around here, well I havn`t seen it anyway. Another method that folk use to get lobbies out their holes when is to have a ball of fishing twine on the end of a stick which the lobster gets totally caught up in and can be dragged out its hole. This is considered extremely unsporting in these parts and I would have nothing to do with this method of catching lobster. My beauty(lobster) was in the wrong place at the wrong time and tasted mighty fine!
