I dont really have a spotting buddy so I dont push my limits so far. No, I dont get samba each 50m. I always wriggle my fingers just to make sure.

Some laps, the 50m quite comfortable so I'd like to push a bit further. What stops me? The wall, i guess. :P
Here's what I thot to do. Does it make sense?
10 x 50m : at a comfortable timing, so no stress... say every 3-4 mins.
then rest 5 min, go for a max dist.
rest 5 min, go for another max
2 x 50 m : every 4 mins.
