please be aware shark numbers in the Arabian Gulf are VERY low. blame polution, overfishing, gillnets, etc.... they is no skill involved in shooting one of these beasts. the "machismo" of shark fishing is blow way out of proportion. take it from someone who caught A LOT of sharks in his youth in the Gulf (young, dumbm, and didn;t know the facts). I if you're looking for a Gulf trophy I would suggest you forget the sharks are start chasing the tuna that frequent the gulf offshore in the winter, and leave what few sharks the Gulf has left alone. shark attacks in the gulf are VERY rare. don;t be afraid of them, respect them, and if you see one while hunting, just enjoy the experience.

really hope if you shoot one you intend on eating it.
