Re: Moray Massacre

Lol, well im kinda aprehensive, but so many people seem to be fine with it that i think i may as well give it a go. I have caught phenomenal amounts on rod and line with some pushing 50lbs or s , just never seen one in the water ever!

I saw a silver eel on my very last dive of the season which was about 30cm long, but passed on that

Since i have nothing better to do now that the water is cold than to look at, buy, and modify gear, i think i will order some new shafts and heads (4 pronger trident in particular) after christmas and maybe a matc shaft... thats what spearo Dave reccomended for them.

I guess ill see how it goes, but i have been informed of a spot near where i hunt that has lots of eel in relativley shallow water... so i think a buddy and i will be diving it next summer.

It has to be done before i go travelling anyway since if i cant get a conger... a moray will kill me

Did your first conger go ok then spearheads? Did you stone it, or have to use the knife?

Huw.
