Hi Blumon, I donīt know about Samana, but is in the same side of the island as Puerto Plata and the tuna season is very good and not far away of shore (so you will be near Cabarete, Sosua, Puerto Plata) . At this moment I donīt have at hand the contact information of a fisherman that can give you information about FADs but can contact you with a friend, Garet Kopeschny,
garetd19@hotmail.com , that also practice Bluewater (knows the fisherman)and must be one of the best divers there.
By the way, I am looking for a job in a sailboat, so if you need a diver, sailor, cheff, or whatever I can send you my resume and be ready to be in the water in a couple of months, Huiiija !!! :-)
