We relinquished the sport hooligan title to Greece (with Italy a distant second?). BBC NEWS | World | Europe | Greece outlaws sporting fanclubs The UK clubs pay for the cops now and the cops actually arrest hooligans, rather than just herd them to the matches (with horses & riot gear) as did in the 70's and 80's -- our prisons are now overflowing. As well as the Roma (Italy)/Manchester(GB) incidents this week, Greece had a far more serious flare up at a women's volleyball.

Watching Judo & 5-a-side soccer at the local sport centre recently, I was struck by how much more aggressive & louder the soccer was than the Judo!

Wots a liter?! Super Big Gulp (64 floz?)...keeps you going, going, going! It costs a pound for a thimble full of coke in the UK ... you'd need a mortgage to buy a Super Big Gulp. Perhaps that's a good thing.
