Is it now the case that you have to be a supporter not to see ads?
The other day, although I was signed in, my screen was full of ads for the first time. A message popped up that if I paid to be a supporter the ads would go.
I paid (bloody good way to get me to join as a supporter, I hate advertising!) but my "cool blue name" thing hasn't kicked in yet!
what's going on?
