ive always used an AB biller 50" but recently ive become turned off by my gun. my buddys use riffes and are generally inexperienced. i was diving a shallow spot and only had my sling, i saw some kingfish on my decent so i kinda snagged my buddys riffe (i never shot one before) and took the shot on a 15 pound king. i couldnt believe it, i stoned it perfect and from a risky distance also, about 20 ft. with my biller i have never taken a fish from that far and i now am searching for a new gun. a friend of mine swears by rob allen guns. i checked them out online and found them hard to track down. i also found picasso? a 150cm gun (59") and at a decent price. its equipted with eitrher 1 or 2 bands, which is odd because im used to 3 or 4. are these guns as effective in blue water hunting? do they have the effective shot of a riffe or typical gun of that class??? or would i be better off just spending the extra $$$ for a riffe??? i have a link to the gun ive been checking out. if anyone with better knowledge of these guns can help i would appreciate it!
