Re: Speargun,please Help

Ciao Vedran.
the 4 guns you mentioned are all very accurate. But strictly talking of accuracy, I say the Gabbiano is a little bit more accurate than the others (and more solid). However, they are 4 very good guns, so choose the one you like more: you can't do wrong with any of them!
Power and range is more complicated to tell.
-When you add more power (2bands), you loose something in accuracy and manouverability.
- With 2 bands you gain some more long range (but not so much, just a little)and more penetration on fish (but a very sharp 6mm shaft shot with a single band, can give you as much penetration as a 6,5 shaft shot with 2 bands: not much different)
-Long range for what? There are guns that shoot up to five or six meters, but you know the fish is not a fixed target: from six meters, most of the times the shaft will arrive on target when the fish will be already gone )
So my question is: why do you think you need extra power? Hunting big fish? Very clear water? Let's discuss, because it's a very interesting subject.

Gabbiano: Gabbiano Trb has the articulated muzzle, Gabbiano Snake has the "australian" muzzle for 2 circular bands.
