Then the reel could be removed when not needed? that is a great idea as I would like to be able to take it off occasionally. One other question, what is better a reel or float system? I have been spearfishing for 20+ years but mostly on scuba on wrecks. This weekend is my first "blue water hunting trip" free diving off the shelf. I have two guns, a midhandle No Ka Oi 60 inch shaft, and a 60" biller lmtd paudak. I have one riffe reel, Was thinking putting the reel on one gun and a line system on the other..??? or reel both?
