Hello tengosurf! I,m from Sosua. I know a litle bit about that area from Cabarete, El canal, La laguna, etc. Due to overfishing I will say those fishes are very scary on that area, I think a speargun like the Comanche 100cm or 110cm with a 6mm shaft will be a good choice for those fast moving target.
