for florida I wouldnt get under 110cm. I live in the keys and own a 110 apex and I am going to buy a 140 this winter for bluewater/deep reef situations.
Oh and I would suggest a used Rob Allen aluminum around 110cm. The aluminum ones are cheaper than carbon and rob allen guns are great as long as you but the little loading pad from flfreedivers...lol. The reason I dont recommend the commanche is the lack of a rail or track on the gun. But its only around 99$ at diversdirect so trying to find any gun in this pricerange is limited.
