That would be me too Erik. Most if not all of the european guns are good weapons, they extra refinements aren't always needed especially in bad vis which you seem to have. Going by what I read about your local water the other day I might wonder if a 75 was too long too, remember that the shaft length is 115cm ~ 46" add that to the length of your arm, will you be able to see the tip?
