I know in the Ft. Lauderdale area there are often people going out freediving and/or spearfishing. Someone on this board will probably reply. My family and I live in the Panhandle (Panama City, Panama City Beach, Destin, etc.), and a shop called Dive Locker has excursions for spearfishers year-round.
