Re: spear gun bands

Another band question...This is my first post...so I'm not sure if it's proper to add another question to another's post... hopefully it is not. Anyway, I have a 48 biller and I use the standard (I believe they are 9/16) bands for it. However I've seen 5/8 in bands for sale and they're a lot stronger. I usually use 2 of the standard bands, one in each notch in the spear, and I was wondering if changing one of the bands to a 5/8in and keeping the other would be a good idea. Could I use the single 5/8 band on the last notch, thereby shortening reloading time...and if I needed the extra power add the 9/16 band to the shorter notch. Would the different thicknesses not pull the spear evenly? Would even the single 5/8 band decrease the accuracy of the gun? Please let me know what you think, even if you could only speculate.
