The Nemo-Wing monofin makes a great practice mono, and it is indeed very comfortable - you can wear it for several hours at a time. you can ask this guy about the fin - he lives in Israel and owns one -

About the stiffness level, If you are not sure, and this is your first monofin - go for a medium stiffness, you cant go wrong
