Lol - hard to argue with that logic foxfish :-)
My reasons for wanting to shorten the spear are:
(1) Better handling. The guns are both nose heavy.
(2) Shorter spear = lighter spear = quicker spear. Without having to reduce dia and increase flex.
(3) I love to tinker :-)
