The line DOES kink on that wrap, but the wear or breakability is probably no worse than the wear at the spear attachment point or crimps.
I have seen some guns with this idea somewhere.

Very positive comments, what else? That's exactly what I did on my Omer Master Competition 106. Apart from allowing sharkfin shafts (which I don't)and reducing to zero the drag of shooting line when passing throught the muzzle, the gain is a much better sight on the shaft itself for better aiming. Azapa you did the right thing no doubt (and it also looks well done)
