Mirror lens? no, they're not good unless the water is chrystal clear on a very, very sunny day. So the difference is just 8 dollars. Then IF you feel the Alien fits better, my advice is to spend the extra 8 bucks and be happy. A mask must fit perfect as a second skin and you will use it for many years (I have my mask since 1999) so that 8 dollars is not such a big investment for what you get: years and years of comfortbale dives with zero mask issues
