Re: belt help.

If you want a weight belt for spearfishing get a 'marseillaise' belt and leave the rest to scubadivers and Italians (just kidding spaghetti!).

The 'quick release' belt you just bought will fail you sooner or later, i.e. at an inopportune moment you will inadvertantly open it or it will open independently. However, the issue you are encountering is somewhat smaller when there is (more) traction on the belt.
