Explorers Paycheck

Was Boatless (read depressed) this long weekend, my son was jones'in to hunt so we decided to hit a hole from shore we use to frequent a couple of years ago.

wind SE less than 5mph, water was in the hi 60's, flat, and surprisingly clear, we shot afew of our favorite speedsters- mojarra's- a delicious small (10"-12")inshore fish, that's a bullet in the water. My son decided the conditions being so sweet we venture out a bit more and explore the surrounding area...the boy's a genius!!!

About 500yd from our area we hit an incredible ledge that went from 15'-20' to 25' that was hustling with marine life...we followed it for around 1/2 mile and it lead us to a freakin barge that had "go's galore" by the time we got there the tide had switched and the water got cloudy quick, but my son managed dinner for the day, while I played "dive coach"...its all good
Final tally for about 3 hours of hunting (my son only)

4 mangos
3 mojarras
Our new discovery...Priceless
