Az, my camera produces MOVs too and tbh you'll make life a lot easier if you convert the movs to something else before editing, then you can just use the Windows Movie Maker to splice it all together and put text and music on.
I use RAD video tools, they're free, and they work a treat to make movs into avi's or wmv's.
