Since your from finland you probably can dive without suit
By the end of March it will be probably around 17ºC.
In San Miguel there are a lot of (natural) areas that are prepared for swiming or freediving and if your staying near the sea you will spot them... you can rent a boat to check some pinacles but it depends what is a "bigenner" for you.
For a bigenner, shore diving will bring lots of places to dive (it gettes deep faster then in mainland) and lot of sea life... i hope you enjoy it.
