If, you have a car and 2-3 days frea at work, you can easily drive to Tapotupotu Bay (
Tapotupotu Bay, Neuseeland - Google Maps) in the far north it,s really perfect for camping, there is a DOC camping ground and if youīre staying on the beach you just have to walk a little bit on the right hand side of the beach, there are some rocks.Just walk for about 5 minutes on the rocks and than jump in the amazing water.
If you donīt have enough time, go to Matauri Bay (
Matauri Bay, Northland, Neuseeland - Google Maps) , itīs half an hour by car from Kerikeri, there is a beach (itīs where the rainbow warrior is) and lots of people fishinf from boat there, just ask some guys if they can take you out with their boat, because in front of the beach there are some small islands, around there you will find some good places to dive.
