I smoked (cigarettes, and...something else) like a chimney when I was a kid. It didn't seem to affect my breath holds, but then again, I was a kid. Now, I can't stand the smell of cigarettes, and my old college party friends are still getting high in the back of a 1982 Toyota pickup.
