What size is the Beuchat Mundial Comp are we talking about anyway? If it's 100cm or less I wouldn't bother to put on a rail that does not fit without laborious modification (for one removing the 3M tape from the Omer rail will be quite a task) that may or may not work.

When asked about any modification he did on his spearguns - needless to say all Beuchat - 3 times world champion Pedro Carbonell once said that he only removes the shaft guide, the gun butt and glues the safety in 'fire' position.

From my experience the gun is deadly accurate without a full length rail, provided that you do NOT use the original Beuchat shafts (flopper does not close properly without some tuning) BUT Seatec Top Extreme shafts with the lowest profile floppers on the market.
