Don't waste your teak on that handle! I don't think you can find commercially available spears that fit a cannon trigger. If you really want to make a gun from it I'd keep it very short <2'. This will keep you from putting too much pressure on the handle; and will let you fabricate spears from 304 ss that won't bend instead of messing around w/ 17 ph which needs to be hardened and is 2x expensive.
If you want a cannon barrel call me. One of my friends from South Carolina has a closed full of Cannon parts that his Dad gave him. If the gun takes a 28mm barrel you could also try Florida Freedivers which may still have Rob Allen surplus barrels w/ the integrated rail.
For your found teak I'd recommend a laminated wood handle that you custom make and an 'American' trigger mech like Riffe, Alexander, Wong. Look for the speargun primer by Sven on the homepage of this site for a good intro.
