The limit of 20 meters won't stand long.
You can do 20m with whatever fins You might get. I have a pair of Gara 3000 (not the LD) and am very happy with them. they might be a bit stiffer than others, but it seems that much of it is just a matter of taste.
The Omer footpockets are just too wide for my feet and the millennium blades feel floppy - but that's just for me Others don't like the feel of the 3000s
See if You can't try on your buddies' fins when You go diving to get a better picture.
