Re: LeaderFins Freediving StereoFins Classic

Hi, I have a pair of Leaderfins medium stiffness 'freediving stereofins with angle'. They are great fins though fairly soft for a medium fin.
A freediving mate has their medium stiffness 'freediving stereofin 2006' but thinks it is way too hard and has arranged to send it back.
I would venture a guess that the fin you are looking at stiffness-wise is like mine. In that case it is a really comfy fin for long time use (if you are comfy with OMER's stiff footpockets) and patrolling large distances, but purhaps not for boat diving quick up-and downs where I guess you would want more snap and stiffness to the blade.

Incidentally I managed to snap the rubber of the Omer footpocket during pool training (mega sprinting,- not really what they are buildt for I guess), and Maxim of Leaderfins replaced the footpocket free of charge. I have since bought their 'hard stiffness' lifesaving sprint fint 'Saver 160' for pool fitness training, and also use their hyper pro monofin for DYN.
I can only say that I am very satisfied. The guy (in charge ?!) Maxim is really good at replying to mails, and can normally give recommendations based on what you need the fins for. Incidentally not all the details turn out to be EXACTLY what you agreed on, but I have found that I have always recieved a great fin,- and that is the important bit.

Hope this helps a bit. All the best Martin
