Well considering you will be mostly diving in temps between 70-80* I wouldn't go with anything over 3mm personally. Another question you may want to ask yourself is what style wetsuit you would prefer; long, shorty or even hooded?

A custom suit would be great but can run you up a pretty penny thats for sure, I think its worth it depending on how often you hit the water. The water down here is warm nearly year round compared to most places, right now the temps are similar to yours. I was looking through the size chart and it may be difficult to find a size that would suit you well. Just browse around and hopefully you can dig something up, if anything you gain a better insight on what style you prefer.
