Another exercise that has helped me to reach 4min was this one: first get realaxed slow breathing no hyperventilation for mabye 6mins utile youre ready do a hold stop at first contraction then 3 min rest then 30 sek of contractions then 1:00 then 1:30 then max.
Always have 3min rest between em. If 1:30 is to hard do 30 45 1:00 or if it is too easy increase it insted. This helped me to get used to contractions. I have not so much experience at all so listen to someone who knows more :P
