I Just came back from Sardegna on 4 May. The weather was great but the water was still cold so fish were tough to find. We mainly fished the outside of Stintino. Even fishing from boat with one of the best local spearfishers (Antonello Gadau- aka-Lupensub) we were only able to take home a stringer of Cefali, Mostella, Saraghi, and scorfani. We also saw some small Cernia (Grouper) but they were only aroud 2-3 kilos each so we decided to leave them for later. Our host saw some Dentice at around 30 meters but they did not want to cooperate. I'll be back in Sardegna for the first 2 weeks of July but up in Capo Testa (Santa Teresa di Gallura). CAN'T WAIT!!!!!
I'll Have to deal with fishing here in Rome area till then. Tomorrow should be good.
