No, I did not even think they could be so stupid to build the artificial islands on a coral reef, destroying it so. What I meant by the coral reef devastation was that since the artificial lagoons are filled with corals and other marine life, they had to bring them from somewhere. It means that for building those artificial lagoons they had to replant tons of living corals. And of course, when removing the corals from their original location, you can be pretty sure that not 100% of them will survive. And as I wrote, I doubt that they have a good chance to survive for long time in their new home. More likely they will need to be regularly renewed, hence for one stupid artifical island they probably killed worth of multiple times more real living corals that needed to grow for hundreds of years, just because some rich idiots want to have their private coral lagoon.
