Yeah, the bent arsed shark gun
Every enclosed track gun has a flat top just like this one, take a look at the spearotiki links to see. It's just friction and the sheer rate of acceleration that keeps the wishbone on the fin. I did say in one of my first posts about this that the raised sides would need to be dropped by the fins to enable hooking the wishbone onto the fins. The bands can still be kept in line by using vertical holes for the bands at the muzzle or by using a simple band elevator.
This is just a topic for discussion, it may be crucially flawed somewhere but lets see some more ideas coming in. Everybody must have some input they could give, it doesn't matter how small nor does it matter how much knowledge you have of gun building, it's just ideas and they all count. Let's try and come up with something that breaks a bit of ground here! If this just ends up like an Omer or C4 clone I'm not even going to enter the competition to win it. If the whole of deeperblue can't come up with anything other than a clone then there is nothing to be gained here
