I do not think it's possible to double 4 minutes in any term of short time. However I think that it's realistic that you could do 8 when training properly and regurarly - but it will take more time.

Saying that you could do eight with regular practice is a big call. I think there're only about eight people that have ever done 8+ in competition history.
I did 5:30 on my first hold and can promise you, I haven't doubled that! It's almost impossible to tell how much you could improve, especially without knowing anything about you, your history and how you'll be training.
