On my side i agree with RA about what to do to land the fish and how to act with the sharks ..show them you are the master!!
but if you are afraid they feel it imediatly and could runs on you..
here we always see them ..there is not a single dive without any shark-S.
They often stay at bottom or in middle water ..
the problems start when they come to surface..if one from them stay at surface when you re spearing watch him ..this the one which will attack the fish first..
also check if it is a male or female ..
normaly males are more agressive..(upon seasons female could be too)
but if you do not get lots of sharks around as we do ,if one is coming around
just go somewhere else..leave him the place..he is in his home..not you!!
we do not goes away as it will be the same or nearly , away!so we are use to..them..
it seems are 400 to 600 together in our north pass that is 800 meters wide
= 1 shark every 2 meters!!ha !ha!
if you want to get use to them come over here..
best regards
