hahah oh i know it!!! its sad. dont get me wrong, i fully appreciate where i live for its diving... unfortunately i just dont hang out with the right people and havent quite found that group that wants to go freediving for the sake of it.
Some friends say they like spearfishing..but then they only want to go in 20ft of water with 21ft vis. where ther really is nothign to get. Fishing aside..just going somehwere with 50ft depth and 80ft vis would make me happy.. its not very deep (by your guys standards :P) but its diving none the less
in a perfect world we'd be on the islands shelf... perhaps one day
i did find one guy tho that i think schmoozed with a dive boat as a tag along..i might try to join up with him..or else ill just have to make very regular Florida trips
