Well to be honest, I stooped doing walking apneas and started to do cycling apneas instead. I find it much bether and I feel my legs much more while cycling. Of course you do that at indore bike, not cycling in highway

Like this I can do about the same time like on my max dynamic swim. My bike training is currently like this, I first do max apnea at slow cycling rate, then 50min of 70% pace and final 10min at 100%.
My breath up is always the same, slow relaxed breathing for cupple of minutes, then when I feel ready I do 3-5 deep breaths, then final one + packing and go. And I actually like more to get my contractions earlier then too late in the dive, because when I get it late that means I have over breath and I can's tolerate them for too long... For example on my last 200m swim, I got contractions at around 60m i think.
